    Definitely. And Mario Sunshine.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

  2. Dark Savior is an odd game. It succeeds at a lot of things, but some of those things just aren't much fun. That being said, I got it for about a dollar, so I can't say that I was disappointed with it.
nice review Jeremy , seriously. you said just about all that needs to be said about Dark Savior.
Dark Savior is an odd game.

  3. This is easy: Power Stone 2.

As my avatar suggests, I'm a huge fan of the original Power Stone, and waited anxiously for the sequal. The idea of four players seemed great but the whole party-game feel they added to it killed it for me. So dissapointing.
I thought you were gay.... i guess not.

  4. Metal Gear Solid 2...it was so sick when you were on the tanker, but then after that I thought it was horrible. The tanker part def. was not worth the $50.

  5. Endgame. What in the hell was I thinking.
    Barf! Barf! Barf!

  6. Mortal Kombat
    MGS2
    Zelda: OoT
    Mario64

i agree, although i had a lot of fun with crazy pyramid -- more than crazy box, i think.

as for me, i'd say my biggest disappointment recently was metroid fusion. i just found it frustrating for some reason, and put it down after playing like 1/3 of it. no real interest in picking it back up. i will some day, after GBA player comes out.

vampire savior (i actually touched on this in another thread). i remmeber being so excited to try the arcade unit at E3 and kept trying to like it throughout its arcade release and also on the saturn. but, for me, it never eclipsed hunter -- it never even got close.

maybe we should do a thread for games that exceeded our expectations? =)

i don't agree with either of those. i like mario sunshine more than mario 64, and i had a lot of love for FFVIII, although its certainly got its flaws, it did a great number of things better than any other game in the genre (mostly characterization, which has since been eclipsed by FFX. -- in fact, just about everything FFVIII did right has, except the ending. mmm.)

it's cyclical.. i feel the way you do about VII about VI, so i found VII to be entertaining. =)

  8. Doom II for the GBA. It's nothing like the first Doom for GBA, which I understand was based on the Jaguar version. It actually felt and controlled like Doom on the PC. However Doom II feels totally wrong. It's just Doom II textures and enemies plastered onto a different 3d engine that Torus created.

  9. Well I have a new Candidate for this thread.

    DOA Xtreme Volleyball

This game is pure gimmick. I should have known, thank god I only wasted $10 and 2 games I will never play on it. Think I am going to put it up forsale/trade

  10. Zelda: OoT
    Mario64
    The hell? Could you elaborate?

Well, that sucks. I was thinking about picking it up, too. :/
