The last few episodes have been pretty good, sometimes even reminding me of the Simpsons of old. I agree with Rumpy though. We need more "real" episodes. All this far fetched crap is retarded.
And they need to take the focus off of Homer a little. Everything has been about Homer for a real long time now and I'm getting sick of it. Let's see an episode about the school and principal Skinner or something. We haven't had one of those in years.

More Itchy and Scratchy! Seriously, I almost pissed myself laughing the first time I saw an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon.

An entire episode that is just one long Itchy and Scratchy skit... no Simpson's or anything would be entertaining.

Well, I can be cool and knock the show, or I can be lame and fanboyish by praising it. I'll just talk about my favorite and worst episodes.
My favorite: No contest; Homer goes to Clown College.
That episode had me rolling a mile a minute. Every 30 seconds was another stupid joke to laugh at. The ending was so retardedly funny.
Worst: The episode where the Simpsons get arrested for domestic disturbance. They have a black social worker to help them with their daily activities. In the middle of the episode, the social worker walks out and the two Vegas chicks(from a previous episode) that Homer and Ned married, make an abrupt appearance. The plot made a sudden halt and meandered for the rest of the episode.
Well, it's just there now. I mean, I no longer bust my nuts to catch every episode, but I catch one here and there.
