Thread: Grev's Border Down on DC? (UPDATED: 4/11 video)

  1. If this does make it to DC, I will be a very happy boy. Guarunteed purchase.

Upon closer inspection of G-Rev's site, it looks like aDC port is in the books. In replying to one letter on the matter, they said to expect a DC port. Also the soundtrack was recently released and sold exclusively over Sega Direct, which would be pretty suspicious if they weren't planning a DC port (or haveing Sega publish or something).

I also learned that they only employ 5 people, so DC's really the only thing feasible for them to port to.

  2. That would be nice, I'll wait for the offical word though.

Gameover, you're right about the time changes, that boss fight shown starts at sunset and it's dark in the shot. I'm actually looking at the screens for the first time on a PC (compared to my DC/TV) and damn, nice detail like the little trees on some of the buildings. Looks like all the shots are from stage 1, I might email them and ask how long the game is.

Read mailbag vol 67. A few of their responses pretty much confirm it.

  4. Nifty...

Now: how does it play? Does anyone actually know a damn ting about this game [gameplay-wise]?

Edit: What do you know. A site update. With gameplay details.

  5. *deleted text*

It sounds like they have considered a DC port but are being coy about it. Probably don't want to pull a Radiant Silvergun. Interesting...

It's better than the 'fish, definitely.

I'll use Babelfish for laughs every now and then... I'll never forget "It is I who know the star deer in announcement of the BORDER DOWN"

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  9. Border Down hits arcades this April according to Gamefront.

Too bad Seven isn't around for impressions... *-neo

  10. No more emails!

Wow, never seen that before. Grev has added English and japanese text to their front page asking people not to inquire about a Border Down home port. Seems they've been flooded with questions which they really don't have time to answer.
