  5. Grinder or sub, Im also a native of Lieberdick's home state.

    Grinder is more common, Subway has introduced the concept of the "Sub"

    There was a Regional chain Wawa that called them Hoagies. I think they still exist, just not around me anymore...

  9. Sub is the most common name I've heard but the are a couple of shops locally that call them grinders.

  10. Its a sub. We have hogies here too, but those are generally have like hot meat on them w/ a sauce, such a pizza or mushroom hoagie.
