EAs games do well, its just that they are not Japanese friendly.
Well, it saves Square from having to negotiate with a US publisher every time they make a game. And it's not a bad deal for them, since they own a majority stake in Square/EA. If EA's games were better, Square would be even better off, because they publish those games in Japan.Originally posted by ShineAqua
Am I the only one that knew the Square/EA thing was a bad Idea to begin with?
EA had about as much to do with Kingdom Hearts as I had to do with the Kennedy assasination.
Matt, any chance you have the whole set of data?

Barf! Barf! Barf!
The first number is gross, the second number is units sold. Multiply 358,876 by $50 and you get a number only $300 or so off from that $17.6mil.Originally posted by StriderKyo
Uh, so wait - what's that first number? The gross? If so, how do they know the net?Originally posted by MVS

I would like to know how much it cost to make said game(s).

VC's up to almost 4.5 million since release. Quite crazy, that is.
Does anyone know how to get ahold of the TRST data?. NPD isn't really accurate since they don't include the largest retailer of video games, that being Walmart. Do you know Matt?
Nope. This is brought up everytime, and I assume that people know this by now. I cannot imagine that they are statistically that much different from these.Originally posted by kbuchanan

In any case, no numbers are final and it seems, that the TRST or whatever, are MIA.
I find this extremely disturbing.Originally posted by mattvanstone

year for the quarter, with the weakness driven primarily by the Tony Hawk franchise,
which was down 30% year over year.
