So we have fountains and these tubes that bubble and light up the water inside. I've had customers ask if the water is seperate. Actually this girl actually gave me an ugly look when i told her that one didnt come with water.

Like I said before, I don't hate the customers or the job...but I do notice the stupid things they do at times.

Exactly. One of my favorites was : "Oh, thinking about buying tht Dreamcast? Don't do that, the Dreamcast sucks. Get a PS2 instead."

Actual employee trying to discourage a sale. Back in those days, I heard that pitch a lot in the various Gamestops in my town. Granted we have 5 in a half mile radius...

In any retail situation - my gut instinct is to give the benefit of the doubt the the retail employee - though they do make mistakes sometimes - I find that retail employees are not nearly as annoying as dumb ass bitchy customers. Good work on that list bro - It applies to us who work in book/music stores as well.
