Thread: What games magazines do you buy?

EGM and OPM are damn fine mags. PSM once in a while, GI is pretty good, and GMR is really good.

  2. Well, I dont buy any, since I found its easier and cheaper to subscribe to them

So I get: Play, EGM, OPM, PSM, Game Informer(came with GameStop membership), and GameNow(free subscription)

I'm finding it increasingly hard to justify buying gaming mags anymore. They often leave me unfulfilled and wanting my money back. The internet has made them obsolete unless they come with demos.

I usually buy OPM, OXBM, and some PC mag. The OPM demo better be damn good to justify the $11.99 price tag. That's the price of a cheap game.

  4. I don't buy any. I get EGM, GameNow, and Gamepro free.

  5. EGM and Play

  6. Well I've been getting EGM and Gamepro(GASP) for free for the past year, and I think it's going to keep going. So the only magazine I actually spend money on is the occassional Arcadia, since I pay attention to the arcade scene more then anything else gaming related.

Man, too true. I didn't buy this month's OPM because The Getaway was the only interesting thing on the disc, and I'm going to rent that anyway.

  8. Well, Thats why I chose to sub to OPM. Makes it cheaper, than to buy them from stores.
