Thread: Worst Movie You Ever Saw

  1. I can also name Titanic. I thought it was very dreadful, slow, and overly long. Was it really necessary to stick a tacky romance to the baground of the huge tradegy. 3 hours wasted, and I even saw it at theater !

  2. The Mummy
    X-Men
    Dog Soldiers
    Lost Highway
    Jurassic Park 3
    Tomb Raider
    The Story of O
    Black Mask
Gone in 60 Seconds (the remake)
    Face Off
    XXX
    The One

  3. Dog Soldiers was good werewolf film. It had everything movie need, and it was exciting to watch. They dont make movies like this very often anymore

What was your problem with Face Off? Granted not a best Woo film, it still have plenty of exciting moment, and nevermind Cage's whining

You have to be kidding me. Did you actually watch the movie!? Awful effects, slimy "werewolves", some of the worst acting ever. AWFUL ending, stupid characters, all of the plost twists were so obvious. Just plain horrid.

Awful acting, two of the worst actors in movies today. (Well Cage was pretty good in Adaptation actually). The characters were not interesting at all. Interesting idea, wasted on Travolta and Cage. John Woo is WAY overrated. I just wanted it to end 15 min. into it.

No. I'm not kidding. FX were nicely done, especially taking film's low budget into consideration. Wolf suits were nice, and much better than some of CGI created werewolves we had in some other recent werewolf films. Also it had plenty of good, old gore, something that majority of films nowday is too chicken to show. What the hell is "slimy werewolves"? Bob Keen of Hellraiser fame did fx and suits for the film, and those looked good. You know, not every movie movie have to be overblown, mega budget epic. I actually liked chracters, they were belivable, jokes were funny, and those guys didnt die easily, and fought to the end. Too me this was one of the better films of 2002.

I dont agree that Woo is overrated. Sure his Hollywood efforts are not as good as his HK films, but films he made in his homeland, are some of the best Action films in the history.

Those werewolves were awful, and they were slimy, I could care less if Bob Keen did them. And where did you get the idea I only like big budget movies? Almost all of the movies I listed had huge budgets and great effects. Great effects do not make a movie, and shitty effects hurt a movie. One of the best movies of 2002?! You are insane, but then again you liked XXX.

  7. Well, Yes I did like XXX. I wont claim it was best movie of the year or something like that, but it was decent entertainment. It was action film, and I watched it as action film, and didnt expected anything extraordinary or highly dramatic.

I agree that Big Budgets and Huge FX dont make movies better(looking at Minority Report), and not all of low budget films necessary good. But you seem to be too critical and eager to pass negative judgement on majority of the films.

  8. I only harp on things that really annoy me. Like Dog Soldiers. I like "crappy" movies as well. Its all personal taste. I just don't see how anyone can enjoy Dog Soldiers. XXX may just be an action movie, but Vin Deisel is terriable and annoys the hell out of me. And watching him Bunny Hop a dirt bike over a 20 foot tall fence with out using a jump just about put me over the edge.

  9. I would love to hear Clash Masters thoughts on a movie like Zombie Lake or Alien Dead. Actually I would love to hear anyone's thoughts on them

  10. I would like to see those movies, I have never heard of them though. Maybe a better video store then the one I work in has them.

Have you ever seen the Flipper movie, Doug? For some reason I think you would get a kick out of it. I know I sure love.
