I base my opinion on a game earlier in the year: Oakland vs. Miami

Maimi has a similar defense to the Bucs in that it is based on speed and hitting the gaps, rather than over powering and being physical. Maimi has a wonderful speed pass rush and they contained and hurried gannon all day and let him force balls into their excellent secondary.

It also doesn't help Oakland that their all-pro center was sent home.

I vote for the Bucs, but I will say that it can go either way. Very close. To me, it all depends on how many mistakes the Oakland D makes. They are the deciding factor.

Well, as for my prediction, I WANT the Raiders to win, but I'm getting the feeling it will be the Bucs, their defense looks an awful like the one which carried the Ravens to the SB a few years ago.

I had all but dismissed them going into Philly, the Bucs had never won such a cold-weather game and they were going into the worst stadium in the league with some of the most hostile fans there are, up against a very good, mobile QB like Donovan McNabb. They then proceed to completely manhandle the Eagles. I counted them out once, I don't think I can do it again.

Bucs 24, Raiders 21. Bucs stop Raiders on their final drive preventing them from getting into field goal range, then they run out the clock and win the game.

well i've been routing for Tampa - and they're up 20-3 now.... very nice to see - but I have a damn terrible fever today right now and am dizzy and possibly delirious...so I might be imagingin things = does anyone else have the same score?
