But the ball was in fact within the end zone, making the 2 point successful, if called correctly.

Because it's against the rules? If your catch the ball in the endzone, and are then pushed out without making contact with the ground, it IS a TD, if the ball was in the endzone. This is what happened, the play was called incomplete (out of bounds) and then on the challenge, it was stated that his feet weren't in bounds. If you're going to challenge a play, at least challenge the right fucking thing. Granted, the stupid ref should have told the coach you can't challenge being pushed out, and they were dumb fucks for calling it incomplete.
Both feet need to be able to come down inbounds. If you saw the slowmo replay, the left foot (without the Buc shove) would not have fallen inbounds. The left foot already had a massive amount of momentum on it and would not have stopped inbounds.
And as for the ball, tha ball was outside of the line, as well, from what I saw.
bastard of the new world order.
*shrugs* I thought it was clearly inbounds. (the ball)

If you mean Best Superbowl where the Giants were scared out of thier minds by the Ravens D... that was a painfull game to watch.
He didn't have to land in bounds if he was forced out.Originally posted by OmniGear
Either way, he wasn't in bounds.
I don't think the ball position matters. If the player would have gotten both feet in if not for the contact, it should be a catch. But your first point is certainly valid.Originally posted by Jimmy Carter

It's not against the rules to push someone out of bounds, when they have possesion of the football. Either way, it a judgement call on wether he would have had the ball in-bounds. Besides, the game was already over by then anyways.
