The tagteam of Curryman and 4th gen. Tigermask must taste redemption!!!
Seeing as how the only honkie on the roster is Dr Death Steve Williams, I can't imagine this getting released here. It's not like anybody knows who Minoru Suzuki or Masakatsu Funaki are eh? There is definitely an edit mode in which Americans will be able to make their dreamiest heroes of wrestiling such as the godlike Big Poppa Dump and whoever else is looking big on roids at the moment.

Aha! Kidnemo knows his puro resu! I forgot that there is Don Frye and some other gaijin jobbers in there but absolutely noone that will interest the WWE contingency stateside. I'm hoping that Technosphile will bring it over again tonight. It ain't quite Fire Pro good but it is a quality 3D wrestling game and I get to be Minoru Suzuki whom I dig. I was a bit bummed that Kazuyuki Fujita wasn't included. This guy was a nobody in New Japan an then went to Pride for some real MMA fighting and he kicked muchas ass(beat the mighty Gilbert Yvel even!). After that he became a star in the puro resu so I don't see why they'd leave him out.I wish for many others too, like Sakuraba, Takada, Inoue and the rest of Japan's super duper MMA fighters but oh well, it's the first "3D Fire Pro game" so I should chill out for a minute and let the series develop. Plus I know that Technosphile will one day make a Fujita edit so I can be happy.

There are video game companies who are stupid enough to release licensed MMA titles that will sell 3 copies in the U.S. Why can't one of them snatch up KoC? Are they afraid of releasing a game that might actually sell decently?
Since this game ain't coming out here I'm going to either mod my PS2 or pick up a Japanese console. I'm dying for a new wrestling game, and even if the game's disappointing (which seems unlikely, since everyone seems to dig it) I'll be able to play the new Do Don Pachi and all those weirdo games like Lowrider and Super Galedic Hour, so the price will be worth it in the end.
The whole add on disc thing scares me, though. I love the idea, but I fear what it'll do to my wallet. If that whole rumor about them requiring the hdd is true...Oy. But I will buy it all. I am a fool! I hope they release an indy sleaze disc. A joshi disc would be nice, too. Gimme Survival Tobita and Meiko Satomura, Spike!
Bingo Jeremy! It's so very true. If I'd ever played it I'd likely be trying to forget it, but I haven't so I guess it's natural that I forget about it. This game ain't bad but I definitely don't like it as much as D. At least not at this point.
And Rummy's also right. A PrideF/C game but not this? Cracksmokers.

But...but...Curryman?
I think that FPA sold close to 68,000 units.Originally posted by Andrew
Yep. I doubt it would sell well with the puroresu grapplers, which would have been the judge and jury on the subject.
I think Fire Pro Advanced sold well though, can somebody dig up some number of sorts on it?
Well, Technosphile brought The King over again last night and I can now wholeheartedly and without a single reservation say that this game fucking RULES! I'm not a huge fan of 3D graphics because it usually makes the gameplay rather screwy(IMO) but this one does it right in too many ways to list. It truly is "the 3D Fire Pro game". I NEED my own copy of it pronto. I hope Technosphile can make me a Pedro Rizzo edit one of these days. Or even better, perhaps I'll learn how to make my own.
