Green and Red arne't add-on packs, they're two different versions of the same core game. Think of them like WWE's roster split.
Er, yeah, my bad.Originally posted by Jeremy
Korly, Firepro Ace was the first GBA one. Final Firepro Wrestling was neutered as FPW 2 here.
I understand what you mean, but at the same time, I don't want to support laziness. In fact, I even signed some silly online petition to BAM! awhile back saying I was gonna boycott the game if they half-assed it, but that I'd always support the series if released in its proper form.Originally posted by Xeno Gigas
True, but it's still sitting on my shelf. I'll always support Fire Pro in the states, if the last one sells well there will always be another. And maybe next time they won't butcher it so much.

Actually, a 3D Firepro game was released for the PSX in 96.
yup.Originally posted by Xeno Gigas
And it was horrible. If I remember corectly.
If I got my information correct, it's not really add-on discs. You see, KOC Green, KOC Red, and whatever other colors are can all be played independantly of each other, however if you want to merge rosters, and have a big ass game with EVERYBODY in it, you need to have the HD. Which is rediculously expensive, and who knows if the US HD (if it's ever released) will be compatible. EDIT: This might answer your question: http://pub83.ezboard.com/fthefirepro...picID=38.topicOriginally posted by rummy
The whole add on disc thing scares me, though. I love the idea, but I fear what it'll do to my wallet. If that whole rumor about them requiring the hdd is true...Oy. But I will buy it all. I am a fool! I hope they release an indy sleaze disc. A joshi disc would be nice, too. Gimme Survival Tobita and Meiko Satomura, Spike!
If it was ever released here, it would go the Firepro/Power Move route and just get rid of all the real wrestlers. They'd re-color and rename them or something.Originally posted by PaCrappa
Seeing as how the only honkie on the roster is Dr Death Steve Williams, I can't imagine this getting released here. It's not like anybody knows who Minoru Suzuki or Masakatsu Funaki are eh? There is definitely an edit mode in which Americans will be able to make their dreamiest heroes of wrestiling such as the godlike Big Poppa Dump and whoever else is looking big on roids at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that whichever wrestlers that you were disappointed about not being in the game, will be on one of the future discs, be it KOC: Red, or Blue or whatever.Originally posted by PaCrappa
I was a bit bummed that Kazuyuki Fujita wasn't included. This guy was a nobody in New Japan an then went to Pride for some real MMA fighting and he kicked muchas ass(beat the mighty Gilbert Yvel even!). After that he became a star in the puro resu so I don't see why they'd leave him out.I wish for many others too, like Sakuraba, Takada, Inoue and the rest of Japan's super duper MMA fighters but oh well, it's the first "3D Fire Pro game" so I should chill out for a minute and let the series develop. Plus I know that Technosphile will one day make a Fujita edit so I can be happy.
I think that covers everything. For more info:

To me they're add on discs, because it is not a complete game until I can have a battle royale featuring Dick Togo, Ryuji Yamakawa, Giant Baba, Super Porky, Ultimo Dragon, Nise Onita, Don Frye's moustache, and Yoshitaka Yoshi's starfish haircut. I must buy each release and combine them into one giant wrestling Transformer. I will buy the hdd if I have to. I am that stupid. GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!
Reading that made me so wet.Originally posted by PaCrappa
It truly is "the 3D Fire Pro game".
Hey:
The first import game I ever owned was All Japan Pro Wrestling: King's Soul on the Playstation. King of Colosseum shares many of the same play mechanics as King's Soul minus the stiff, plodding matches. I'm enjoying it.
That said, I have a question--if KOC Green and Blue are essentially "add-on" discs, does that mean you will be able to have one central file on your memory card to encompass all three games, or will you have to spread things out a bit? It would be nice if all my Edits from one memory card could be used on every game.
Here's hoping Spike can sign some PRIDE fighters for the next istallment. Namely this gentleman...

There's a Kings of the Colosseum: Blue?
I thought it was just Red and Green, both of which I own. Good games, not the be-all-end-all games they are spewed to be.
