These Genesis games...

I've been trying to meet my goal of owning every decent domestic Genesis title and was wondering about these:

- Thunderfox
- Caliber 50
- Dark Castle
- Mystical Fighters

Thunder Fox was fun in the arcades. I still haven't played the Genesis version.

Cal. 50 was average from what I vaguely remember.

Mystical Fighter is a good beat 'em up. A lot of people seem to hate it though and I'm not sure why.

Turbo Outrun was released for Mega Drive, right?

Yeah, Turbo Out Run is import-only, I'm pretty sure.

Damn. My want list is already at 61 games. The imports alone will ruin me (Zero Wing, Monster World 4).

Mystical Fighters has good control and large characters, but the backgrounds are plain (expected for a 4 meg game).

I played Thunderfox on Sega Channel and was never impressed with it. Stiff controls and blah graphics.

Turbo Outrun is pretty bad from what I've played of a emulated version. Having never played the arcade version I'm not sure if it's just a bad port or what.

Cheer up Melf, Zero Wing is pretty easy (and cheap) to find. *-neo

Melf, I think you're safe ignoring all four of those. I don't recall anything about them that's worth mention...they're all either painfully mediocre or painfully bad.
