excellent. i thought i was crazy. after i play the game, i feel like i'm still moving forward in that hexagonal tunnel. the sensation only lasts a few seconds, but it's really strange.

at least i can play it though. freqency makes one of my friends physically ill. he can't even make it through one song.

I liked Frequency a lot, glad to see a sequel is coming. I had no idea. I really should keep track of the news more like I used to. Wot wot.

New artist revealed!

Sony has revealed several new artists that will be contributing to the soundtrack for Amplitude, the sequel to the rhythm game Frequency. POD, blink-182, Mekon, Freezepop, and Dieselboy will be joining a list of artists that already includes Garbage, Weezer, David Bowie, Quarashi, and Logan 7. Like Frequency, Amplitude will require players to tap buttons on the PlayStation 2 controller to match onscreen commands. The game will feature various online capabilities that will give players access to ladder rankings, chat rooms, and an option to participate in multiplayer or remix modes.

Fuck you Sony. I try to avoid Blink and POD. Now if I want to complete amplitude I'm going to have to have that shit piped into my ears.

Chux, I agree. I don't want a bunch of mainstream artists in my music games. Frequency was great because I'd never heard 90% of the music before, and most of it was pretty damn good. Speaking of which, I need to play some of this online. So many games, so little time...

I'll admit, I'm glad to see Freezepop back. I'm really lookin forward to Dieselboy, Garbage, and David Bowie. The rest are kinda... meh.

The only thing Frequency does to my eyes is make them dry from not being able to blink for like 4 straight minutes.

I should visit the Harmonix studio someday. Its like 10 minutes from me. I wonder if they'd give me a tour or something.
