Thread: Deus Ex- home version?

  1. #11
I don't know about the PS2 port but the PC version of Deus Ex is probably the best game ever made.

Deus Ex ran fine on my Voodoo2 a few years ago. I'm guessing most people now have a good enough PC to run it.

You just need to know where to look. And coming out in 2000 (and then followed by several re-releases), Deus Ex is nowhere near tricky to find.

For older PC joy, check out the oddly-named www.cdaccess.com. Another good place for steals, particularly on newer games, is www.gogamer.com.

For old PC games, I usually look in pawn shops or thrift stores. Games show up eventually. I also check the used stuff at EB.

  4. If you look around in EB, you can get Deus Ex: Game of the year Edition for $10. Or, if you're lucky, you can get it in a PC four pack of games for $10. The one I got had Deus Ex, Quake 2, Tomb Raider last Revelation, and Operation Shadowforce.
www.classic-games.net updated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  5. Thanks guys. For whatever reason, pawn shops in Toronto don't seem to carry games.

And thanks for the links, Ben. There are a few older games I've been looking for, hopefully they've got them or can track them down.

You heard right. Thats why its so cheap.

Hold out if you can. Of course, you'll probably want to play it again on your PC if you can't wait...

Or at least you should (on your PC).
