Thread: Ebert Reviews DareDevil

  1. Ebert Reviews DareDevil

Here is Roger Ebert's review of DareDevil:

Quite a decent review this time. No usual unnecessary bitching, and just normal comments about the film.

  2. What is it with you and Roger Ebert?

  3. He is pretty much the only major movie critic, whose reviews I read, so I tend to post them here as well. Some are good, but some are really bad, and can be used to get a laugh or two.

  4. I can't read his reviews. Not only do I think he's a hack, (as ar most "pro" reviewers) but he often gives away big spoilers.

  5. I just got back from seeing it, and man! DD was done good! Unlike most of Ben's movies, he actually got into character for this, and Collin Farrel stole the show! Bullseye was done excellently! And the Kingpin! HOOOOOOOOO-BOY!

You've got to go see this movie!

I hope we get a game out of this! Anyone hear anything yet?

  6. I saw it.... I liked Bullseye indeed did steal the show. Affleck did a really good job and Kingpin wasn't in the movie enough to really bother me. All in all it was an excellent movie, I liked it more than Spider-Man.

  7. I just got back from it as well. They did a damned good job and my hopes are now up for a good Punisher movie.

  8. Captain Vegetable, there WILL be a game based on the flick... on the GBA. I think it's either out now, or is coming out soon. Good to hear that the flick is decent, I'll be sure to get it when it hits DVD.

Why did the Kingpin bother you? 'Cause he was black? I though he was a supremo Kingpin! No scrawny white guy with any amount of make-up would have done as good a job.

And did you catch the Stan Lee bit? Did'ja?

I hope Lee appears in the Hulk as well!

    Erp!

That's not really what I wanted...

  10. Lee has appeared in the last 3 major Marvel movies (X-men, Spider-man and DD), he has to appear in the Hulk.

I wish that they had made Urich (the reporter) write for the Daily Bugle instead of the NY Daily Post, because Urich also works with Peter Parker in Spider-man sometimes. But since two different companies released the movies they didn't want any links, which I think kinda sucks.
