It is a great movie. Many of my friends haven't seen it and it's a shame. It's sad that younger adults don't appreciate some of the great things of the past.

Took long enough, but I finally found the special edition DVD of this great, great movie.
It took a while for me to finally see Lawrence and I'm kicking myself that I didn't do so sooner. The cinematics are amazing and Peter O'Toole's acting as Lawrence was awesome; very quirky.
I must now go find more information on World War I (been storming through WWII stuff lately).
Anybody else a fan of this film?

It is indeed a great film. I recomned it all the time to customers (I work in a video store) but as soon as they see it was made before 1998 and is two tapes they go, "Maybe some other time." Oh well.
Barf! Barf! Barf!
Its a great movie. I own it on DVD.
However it really is meant to be seen in the big screen in 70mm.
There was a rerelease in some giant theatres a few months back. I think the closest release to me was two states away, though.Originally posted by diffusionx

I am not a big fan of monster epics like this one, but it is a decent film. It seems kind of stilted and old-fashioned to me. Seven Samurai is far more enjoyable, in my opinion.
