I'm pretty much open to all styles/genres of Film. Of course I'm partial Action and Horror and even Sci-Fi.
Romantic comidies is what I dislike the most, unless the female lead is hot. I dunno Romance isn't my thing.
Well, there are different styles of movies, Gothic, Action, Comedy, Spoof...etc.......I prefer Science Fiction overall of them. But I know there are some of you that love Action or even Mature styles. So Let's discuss your styles and why you hate or love other styles.

Comedy is my preferred movie genre. Although action flicks also have their place in my collection.

Sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, and action; however, I don't limit myself at all. There are dramas I like a lot, and romantic comedies (that I wouldn't see if it weren't for my wife) that are great as well. Sweet Home Alabama was a good watch, and My Big, Fat, Greek Wedding was one of my top 10 of last year.
I like almost every kind of film genre in at least some aspect. I'm partial to cheesy sci-fi and musicals, though.

If it's good, I'll watch it. There is sucky everything, and good everything.
Action and Horror films are my most favorite genres. I also enjoy Sci-fi films, Martial Arts and Comedies. Dont like Dramas much though, and Musicals as well.
I like most genres, except for the vast majority of comedy-romance-dramas (I've only seen one that I have liked). Also, I'm yet to see a western that I like, but I think thats probably because I have seen next to none of them. In general, my favorites tend to be dramas of some sort, however its not like a strict rule. My 3 favorite movies are probably Memento, Donnie Darko and Mallrats.
I really enjoy Horror movies, though I don't think one has ever truly scared me (startled for sure though). Nothing is quite as good as relaxing and watching brainless horror.
I only really like action movies if it has really well coriographed (sp?) action scenes, for example, the transporter. Still, I don't mind shit action too. same goes with martial arts movies. I tend to only like asian ones. Kill Bill looks set to kick ass though.
I'm sick of teen comedies based at graduation or house parties. I used to think the occasional one was funny, but barring american pie I really can't stand them now. I really like subtle humour, like royal tennenbaums, though I don't get to see much of it.
Some sci-fi is good, though most of it sucks IMO. Space is just boring to me, and the vast majority of sci-fi is set there. However, I do like looking at other peoples visions of the future.
Dark comedy owns all.
The darker and more twisted the better.
I also should add, that I'm huge fan of Asian cineme(but its pretty much well known already), so lately majority of movies I watch are from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand. Different genres too, action, horror, martial arts, dramas.
