However, I desperately await the next $30 I get a hold of, because the fact that I played through Metroid Prime and am now most of the way through WW without owning component cables hurts me. Both of these are gorgeous, gorgeous games and require being watched in as good condition as they can be. This S-Video hookup needs to go, it's time for an upgrade.
that is correct get them now

you will be happy with them

i have them and they do rock
    Where I play

  2. I am about 6 or 7 hours in, and I am loving every minute of this game. I am literally blown away. I LOVE the graphics. I love how they used Realistic focus, not everything should be in sharp focus like lots of developers think it should. I also just love how Link plays in this game, it controls extremely well, and the camera works great.

I have yet to have any real challange yet in the game but I don't care, I am enjoying myself so damn much.

The whole Sailing aspect I think is fantastic, I love expoloring this big ass ocean and just watching weather move in and the sun setting and stuff. Just plain fantastic.

If the game continues are it is now in my mind it easily surpases the last two 3D Zelda games. Link to the Past so far is still better, but this game fits fine in Second place.

    Just wonderfull overall.

  3. I finished it last night, and I think it's my favorite Zelda, maybe the easiest, but most fun in my opinion. I know I'll play this one over and over unlike Oot, which I thought was more of a chore than this one. The ending is pretty good, but not great. LTtP had such a great ending , since then Zelda games have had pretty shitty endings. This one isn't shitty, but it could've been better. I really hope they stick with this art style at least for one more game. It's hard not to enjoy a game that's as fun to look at as it is to play.

  4. If they could somehow change the control scheme while keeping the same Zelda quality then I'm all for it, really.

I happen to find this game to be awesome. The control scheme is aging but there are some new fighitng mechanics in the game. I had a fight with two pirates on the lookout tower and this guy hit the poll off of one of my attacks and came smashing down through a pot, then disappating into smoke. The other guy just slew off the tower into the water.

Good times. It's good to have two opinions, but this game feels like Zelda with newness to it in the dungeons. I personally want something new in a new Nintendo franchise, not an old one that's already A++ in my books.

    Oh well.

  5. Fer the record: I've had zero problems with camera or control.

  6. The camera in Wind Waker is the best I have ever had the pleasure of controlling.

Am I the only one to notice that - I mean I know Link's not supposed to have eagle eyes or anything and I guess that's what Aryll's scope is used for <shrugs> minor gripe at best, I'm enjoying it so far -- got a chuckle out of the uhhh "relationship" between Orca and his brother -- I look forward to possibly seein em duel it out if Orca keeps practicing those loud fighting techniques
realistic though. The further something is a away the harder it is to see. With a telescope of high magnitude, even complex objects don't look at they appear but more vague in detail and he's only using a small hand held. Give him a break!

It's the same damn camera everybody bitched about in Mario Sunshine.

In close quarters it actually follies up a bit but compared to most games out there it's pure gold. That doesn't really excuse it but I suppose that come with the other large portions that the camera is awesome in.

  10. The camera was easy to use in Mario Sunshine and its easy to use in this game. Some people just suck.
