Thread: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

  1. I think the person who made the Peter Pan reference was right...

My 4 year old daughter played it today for about 3 hours, I ask her.. "Honey are you liking Zelda?"

She says, "I thought it was Peter Pan daddy?"

    Heh.

I aways playing the OoT disc the other day, and my mom was like "is that Peter Pan?".

  3. I'm not having any problems with getting past the guard dudes, that stuff is a cinch. I just can't keep track of which group of them to go after.

    lupin III fan

  4. I got to the crab boss at the island with the dragon at the top, then my daughter made me stop so she could play.

  5. What's the best place to get rupee's?

    *SPOILER, possibly*

I got the rupee's from the first sliding puzzle in the cabana from the buttler and went into the fireplace dungeon and got some rupee's down there. (Saw some prong-like things so I assume that's for the hammer, which I don't have yet).

This game is just as good, if not better in most aspect, than the OOT. Atleast to me it is. I also love how they put a ton of the old stuff back in like the baddies being pig-like guards and the heavy soldiered guards also. Great graphics.... simply stunning.

I also find there to be a ton of humour in the title. If this game takes 40 hours or more to play through to completion then I'm more then happy.

  6. gerudo fortress was hard, didt you just have to snipe the girls in the head to knock them out, then walk right past? i think thats how i did it.

It'd be funny if those old folks just gave those clothes and that sword and shield to some kid, hoping desperately that he's the legendary hero, and then that kid just goes out and dies. Hehe.
    Amen!

  8. I want a CD sountrack if only for the miniboss theme. Wind instruments make for the most intense "frantic battle" tracks.

  9. Someone I know is letting me borrow her Cube and Wind Waker when I get back from Virginia. I will be playing this quite a bit, come Monday.
