I voted no, maybe it's because I've read it since the beginning and feel somewhat attatched to it. But some newbie will probably start a GC karuga thread anyway so what the hell..
I'm becoming increasingly sick of people saying they're too lazy to read through the Ikaruga thread for answers to questions that have been posted multiple times over the past year.
At the same time, the Ikaruga thread is completely disorganized and unwieldy and people have a right to complain about it.
So here's my proposal:
1) The mammoth Ikaruga thread will be closed, left as a tribute to our board's unique devotion to this wonderful niche game.
2) All Gamecube-related questions will be moved to a new GC-specific Ikaruga thread.
3) All pertinent Ikaruga NON-STRATEGY information (links to artwork, translations, story questions, etc.) will be moved to a general purpose Ikaruga thread.
4) All strategy-related questions, including requests for superplay videos etc., will be referred to the high-score thread in Guinness.
Please vote and/or post your own suggestions in this thread.

I say leave it as it is and create a section of the boards dedicated to Ikaruga.
I don't forsee any complaints.
You can't kill the Ikaruga thread because....it's our Ikaruga thread.![]()
That's what I was going to say! We'll make a specific Ikaruga board!Originally posted by ChaoofNee

...No way Bahn'll have that happen.![]()
since it's not online, that's correct. I won't. and as the administrator, I say leave it as it is. People should learn how to use the search feature and stop being so damn lazy.
Hell no. Leave it.
It's a monument.
Search doesn't help find pages, only threads. Unless it's been changed since I last used it.
...if they are looking for a specific word or such, they can find ANYTHING within a post or thread.
now as for searching for something within a specific thread, THAT's different.
Yeah, like Mech said, the search function will only point you at the thread, not individual parts of it. I say keep the thread, but add chapter breaks or something:Originally posted by bahn
