He was the coked up drug dealer in Boogie Nights. He was also in Raiders of the Lost Ark, "throw me the idol, and I'll throw you the whip".
I'm glad they got a good actor instead of a big name, just like they did with Willem Dafoe. That bit about it being a single villian film is good, too. For a while it looked like The Lizard would also be a villian, but I hope it stays a one villain show so they can fully develop Doc Ock as a character.

I wonder if he'll date Aunt May like he did for a while in the comics, as Raimi and crew seem to get a lot of their story from the Ditko and Romita Sr with Stan Lee era of the books.

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to like it too, but it ended up very bad, or at least thats my opinon about it. It started well, but then slided right into silliness and ridicoulous Green Goblin didnt helped matters either. DareDevil was much better comic book to screen translation.

All of Spiderman's villians are ridicoulous for the most part, so that is going to happen no matter what.

And I dont like Doc Oc either, but they might make him better, and it will be cool for sure.
