Well, it's Zelda man, people will buy it regardless, but I agree, Nintendo really needs to look into revamping their advertising campaign in some respects.
Although you have to admit the one to Metroid Prime was pretty good...
It shows very little game footage, and the footage shown sucks. The live action "that girl...is me" thing sucks. They could have and should have done soooo much better. This game will make or break the Gamecube, and Nintendo's shoddy advertisement will turn many off. First the Mario Sunshine "Clean and Dirty" ad and now this. They are just digging themselves in a deeper hole
.
Does anyone agree with me, or am I overreacting?!?

Yea, the Prime ads were good. Gamecube ads in general just lack something. Does Nintendo even have a slogan?!?

"Nintendo is best fuck the rest" was a good one.
Maybe it's a throwback to the original Zelda commercial.I remember watching that and going "Um, what kind of game is this?"
In other news: I'm old.
...the game sucks? um ok.
Maybe they should take a page from Sega's book o' advertising and have some fanboy scream "ZELDA!!!!!" Now your playing with the next level biotches!
wicky wicky wick
I didn't think it was that bad...
And it's a commericial dude. Don't have a fucking hissy fit.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.
The system is almost a year and a half old, if not that already. How is this going to either make or break it?Originally posted by Orta
