Maybe he's just wearing tight clothes, but those bottom two screens make it look like he'll move really stiff. *insert Capcom RE reference* Of course, these are early as hell so that doesn't mean very much.

But I still wouldn't want that guy as the hero. Even if he is more manly than Tidus.

He was dissing the genre, not sequels. Note how he followed that comment by asking Capcom to make more sequels/ripoffs of the current lineup. [edit] Or the whole thing could be a jab (as I reread it) and Yoshi's comment would stay true. Take your pick.

for some reason this image plus the boyband comment made me picture the character randomly break out into a dance sequence. which, now that i mention it, might make the game more interesting as i think the survival horror genre is rather bland.

The former is what I meant. Capcom can milk a franchise (or genre in this case) all they want, as long as it's a franchise (genre) I actually like in the first place. Survival horror (or whatever you want to call the REs/DMCs/DCs) is probably the only genre I don't like, personally

Okies. When I reread it the milking reference with "Ugh" at the end popped the notion that perhaps the whole thing was an attack on sequels after all. My bad.

I personally don't dislike Survival Horror, but I'm not fond of the gameplay Capcom uses for RE. That and they need better monsters, I really don't get the whole evil frogs and flowers in a realistic-styled game. Old-school or funky platformers, yes: Zombie survival, no.

But we've gone over this before. I'll drop it now.

Well, Too bad for you Andy. I will take my Capcom horror games, thank you very much. And DMC is not Horror Survial game, Its an Action game. Same goes for Dino Crisis 2. If you didnt like those, you missed out on good action games. Your loss.

As for Glass Rose, I dont see any problems with main character designs. Looks ok to me.

I will keep an eye on the game. It might turn out to be a fun game.
