  4. Atleast it's overwhelming.

Outlaw Golf is based around sexual inneudo and bluntness, so a spoof of the popular genre is a good idea for them. How did outlaw golf do anyway?

Me. If they are banking off the Outlaw theme again then I'm assuming Outlaw Golf did decent enough to warrant the publishers shooting with it again.

I was wondering if anybody had some solid numbers.

With Acclaim's history of admittedly scandalous marketing initiatives, we're curious to see what they come up with once its new title Beach Volleyball is ready for release. For now we're bringing you oily sun-tanned screenshots from the PS2 version. The game is in development at Acclaim's Cheltenham studio in the UK, also responsible for the upcoming XGRA. In total there are fourteen characters available in Beach Volleyball along with twelve locations including Venice Beach Stadium, Flamingo Pier, Emerald Marina and Silver Sands Beach. A so-called "super spike" mode allows players to earn special moves, speed-ups and unlock secret features.

The game modes include arcade, exhibition, tournament and mini-games and there's a Spring Break mode which tracks the stats of the player. Once she reaches certain criteria, new features will unlock, similar to Sega's Virtua Tennis series. If you're worried about the looks of your favourite character, fear no more because you can alter all the details of your beach hero including skin color, hairstyle and accessories.

Beach Volleyball is so far confirmed for a European and North American release on PlayStation 2 some time this August

  10. It seems like it could be a decent enough game.
