Is anyone else looking forward to this Stephen King book to movie? The book was possibly one of King's best books since the Stand. The cast looks pretty good, especially Freeman as the FBI (CIA?) guy. He was the guy I had in my head when I was reading the book. I'm really curious to see how they have the aliens look.

Yeah, I'm definately interested. The trailer is pretty creepy, and I'm totally looking forward ass-raping aliens called "shit-wiesels".

I havent read the book yet, but hopefully the film will be very good.

It has a pretty good cast, Morgan Freeman looks very weird in the role of crazy Army General.

I haven't read the book and I honestly have no idea what the movie is about, but it does look interesting. Good trailer that doesn't give a whole lot away.

From what I've seen in the commercials it looks like a "The Thing" rip-off.

BTW Morgan Freeman is in like 1000 movies coming out now.

I loved the book and I'm interested to see what they took out...it was a long book. I can't see Jason Lee in that role though...doesn't seem like his kind of character.

The Thing Part 2...... from what I've seen.

It is and it isn't. It doesn't reproduce like The Thing does and a good portion of the book takes place in the mind of one of the characters. Plus there is another character (revealed mostly through flashbacks) that has an important role in the story. He's unlike anything in The Thing. It's a bit like "It" in structure. The weather part is spot on though.

My sister started the book and said it got so scary she stopped reading half way through.

I hope the movie makes me shit myself.
