Apex is indeed a mighty fine game, R4's spiritual successor in my book. It's pretty damn short though, I finished it in like three days (or about 100 races).

I've been meaning to check this game out--Penny Arcade guys really liked it. I've been wanting to pick up a new racer.

Ahh you Marchies! Always counting February down. Well I say February is BETTER than March because is has more letters AND is number two. Have you ever heard the rhyme:

"First the worst, second the best, third the nerd!" Well that's what it's all about! I don't know why March is a nerd, or why January is the worst, but all I know is that I am a February activist!

Also, February has a deep history of the letter 'r' being in there. In the late 50's, early 60's nobody said the r. It was Feb-U-ary. Well, they may have been in bliss due to ignorance, but with the 1980's came a hard slap in the face! Why? I'll tell you why: That R made its way back into the fray! The kids talking about AIDS, social issues and punk rock were taking back the letter r in their February and all for the good of human annunciation. What's next mr.soundwave? Libary, bisquetti? Well... I for one am not going to take it!!!!

Anyway. I didn't buy alot of games in February and will have to catch up with DC 2 and Xenosaga. I also want War of the Monsters.

Well. I used February to catch up on Splinter Cell and Suikoden III (both were a lot of fun). I'm so far behind in my game purchasing I don't think I'll ever catch up.

I'm definitely overwhelmed with all of the great games coming out lately. I was in Best Buy today and choosing between Xenosaga, DC2, Apex, and Indiana Jones was about to make my head explode. I ended up purchasing Crash Team Racing for the PSX.
