Midway enters new territory with its upcoming release of <b><i>Freaky Flyers</i></b>, described as a fast-and-furious 3D cart-racing . . . err, airplane title due for release on all next-generation consoles this July.

Choose one of several zany characters as you explore, fly, execute stunts and dogfight throughout the sky. A unique twist in the game features intertwining stories and player actions which affect the outcome of various elements as you progress. There's some cool slapstick humor and cliches thrown in for good measure - especially if you dig the old vintage type of style...

That game looks super lame. Diddy Kong Racing is still the king in Cartoonish Airplane racing, but then again I think this game is its fist challanger.
