MS promised bassicaly a highend workstation as a console they delivered an E-machine

at least Nintendo actually used the chip they promised its the same one as in the Indy which was a SGI workstation of the time just clocked a few MHZ down from the Indy

if you call that a rumor then i call MS's claims a rumor
