AAHHHH!!! They're gonna send me to the nuthouse!!!

So what exactly are the side benefits to this job? Any possible chance to play games and give feedback?
don't wanna tangle with you, I'd rather tangle with him.
I think I'm gonna bash his head in...

  3. *sigh* While I can meet every single one of those criteria and I'd love to find an opening to break into the gaming industry, I doubt I could work for free and still survive.

So does IGN need any fledgling 3D modeler/animators ?

Our current Video Editor Chris Roper did that every day for five months. He was an intern, did a great job, and we hired him.

Well then, I'll be looking into this!

As far as the woman you're curious about -- Her name is Heather Hawkins but she does freelance PR now and is mostly involved with music scene.

  6. I'd personally love to do this. Living 3000 miles away in Maine's icy wilderness doesn't help. Being stuck here because my girlfriend wants to stay in this wretchedly poor state definitely doesn't help.

I can't believe James moved away from California to live here. I seriously hope he had good reason, 'cause I can't think of any except finding that perfect special someone.

  7. Kevin Smith was right about calling my state "hell".

I need to get away from here at some point

  8. There are many reasons not to live in the SF Bay Area. Most of them involve having to pay out of your ass for everything.

Like paying $2.39 for a gallon of regular...
Like paying $1200 a month for a one bedroom...
Like paying $4 for a subway ride...

The cost of gas alone makes it difficult for anyone living alone to take a free internship. Bah.

I heard it costs $30 for a hamburger.

  10. I just asked my friend who lives in Burlingame if I could move in with him if I somehow got an internship I live in Livermore, so with no car that means that it would cost on average of 8 bucks a day to go to and from SF by BART. Oh how I need a paying job to validate this..

I'll probably shoot off an e-mail tonight. Destiny is afoot!

    ...

    Or something.
