Thread: My supergun

Further research has shown that it now has a problem with the PSX too... I didn't catch it here, but the picture randomly freaks out, buzzes and wiggles back and forth.

Well, I love the KV-1311CR, so no biggie I guess.

Heh. The best it yet to come.

    Well, kinda.

No spending money on things like.... "food," "girls," or... anything of that normal nature here.

    Check it out...
It looks like an H-sync problem to me. Verify that all the syncs go to their right places.

Hahahahahaha!! You're FF7 has been soiled! Cloud will never be the same.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

    Holla back if that workz.

Heh, OK. Switched to pin 6. That didn't stop the vertical scrolling, but it is what gave me any sort of picture in the first place. When I had it on 5 I just got fuzz. Need to figure out that scrolling issue....

And about the +5v: When I have nothing connected to pin 10 I get a monitor that won't turn on. When I connect +5v I get something. I probably don't have my RGB hooked up right (the compleatly incorrect colors should be my first hint to that one ). I'll wire more tonight, post again tomarrow.

You should. Games are cool but parties and drugs are better. Don't piss away your time as a student shut up in your room playing KOF. Find the right balance.

I dunno, these days i'd rather smoke, read a book and listen to music than play games. When I do play it's usually multiplayer stuff with one single player game a week. So long as you're happy though that's cool.

Hmm - I think I can fix that. Send me a PM! By the looks of things, the KV113cr takes a slightly different sync signal than your 27 incher.

Hey OG. From the XBox AV pinout in RGB mode it looks like there is one line devoted to composite sync, which is basically Horizontal+Vertical sync interleaved together. Your monitor probably has two separate input jacks where it expects Horiz. and Vert. sync lines separately. Sometimes you can get away with putting Composite sync into the Vert. Sync jack on the monitor and the monitor will adjust itself. Sometimes you can attach composite sync to both Horiz. and Vert. sync inputs on the monitor and the monitor will adjust itself. In those worst cases when you have a dumbass monitor you need to split the Composite sync into two separate signals using the LM1881 chip. Try the first two cases and if they don't work then you need to contact a techie so he can fix it for you.
