Thread: Is

  1. Is

It's a square shooter that's supposedly similar to rez. Has anyone here played it? Werewolf? Any opinions on it?

  2. Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  3. I'm just curious about this game. Werewolf probably has it I guess....

    It's a ps1 import btw.

  4. Is this Internal Section? I always wanted to play that. Just out of curiousity.

  6. Mrw: yeah I think it stands for Internal Section.

  7. I remember reading about this a long time ago. It's been on my want list ever since, but I've never seen it for sale anywhere. IGN has some info on it. MarkInJapan has it listed but I can never tell whether he actually has something or not. Maybe try e-mailing him about it. If you find any additional info, post it here! I'd like to know more about the game as well. Cheers.

  8. I've got it.

    Its fucking wierd.

Its a tunnel shooter kind of like Rez, or Gyruss.

You have an excessive amount of weapons, all seemingly based on the chinese zodiac. All have different "powers". Homing lasers, spread shot, particle cannon, and all are pretty integral to the game.

It gets kinda hard, confusing trying to switch between over a dozen weapons in the heat of battle, especially since they are unlabeled, and you can only cycle through them.

I really wanted to like it, but its too complicated to really enjoy like Rez.

Although there is a mode where you can put in your own CD, and play a practice level with the beats and notes in the music determining the enemies you see.

I remember being really excited about this when I first heard about it, then it dropped off the radar.

Hey NotJigen... want to sell me your copy?

  10. I got this from Mark in Japan for $25 or so a couple months back....its very awesome, and the fact that you can use your own CD's is great.....it's similar to N2O that came out over here....which is also a great game....
