Leon from the Professional as well. I don't think I quite nailed him though, and you can see I had some trouble deciding how the head shape should go.

I draw these ugly Man Heads in my Art History classes, since the other cartoons I draw never come out good in Bic.

The thumbnails look wonky because the "[thumbnail]" feature doesn't constrain the proportions. Thanks for looking.

Woot! Easily the best sketch book yet! VERY Nice! You are getting such a natural look with these characters. Reminds me of old disney conceptual art. I SO badly want to see some of these guys in motion. Keep up the good work man.

BTW, where is the all girlie sketch book volume we were teased with?

Thanks JM. A couple of those girlie drawings ended up here, but I decided a bunch that I already had scanned weren't that good after all.

After looking through them again, I really like the one you call "Oldie" I'm impressed with the economy of line in that one.

Man, I really can't describe what I like about these. I guess I don't have a vocabulary for comic criticism. They just look so professional, you can tell that you have been doing this for a long time & you are coming into you prime. It will be a grave injustice if you don't find professional work in the industry, though I know a little about the sad state it is in.

First thing I thought when I saw that one. All I could think of was the 'happy happy,' 'joy joy' mating call.

You do a fine female outline, in addition. Nice curves.

Oh, and the second from the top is my favorite up there. Swift stuff as always, cigs.

Actually, I know a girl who can do that with her arm...freaky. We actually got her to see if she could do it w/ a beer in her hand and not spill. Suprisingly, she was able...
