High Heat don't have 'em, but the game sucks.
I'll pick up whatever one has XBL support, because I need a sports game for XBL already.![]()
All-Star Baseball 2004
High Heat Baseball 2004
Inside Pitch 2003
MLB 2004
MLB SlugFest 20-04
MVP Baseball 2003
World Series Baseball 2K3
I played MVP baseball with a friend over the weekend and I have to say, the new interface is really, really cool. In fact, I can say it's the best two-player interface around.
The game is even thoughtful enough to put the hot/cold zones in the strike zone (unlike WSB).

I don't think any of them are able to be played online, only roster updates are online. I guess I'll have to stck to PC baseball again this year. Maybe Microsoft's baseball game will be live compatible, but then again, It'll probably blow. I'd stick to all star, high heat or MVP baseball.Originally posted by Rich

as far as needing an xbox live sports game, I suggest NHL 2K3 , if your into hockey that is .

World Series Baseball 98 on the Saturn featured hot/cold zones and is my favorite version of Baseball. I'm hoping World Series 2K3 will live up to the greatness of 98. I'm getting an Xbox as soon as my income tax return comes in and I'll be getting WSBB2K3 for it when I purchase the system.
It's really down to All Star 03 Baseball and WSB2k3 with All-Star being the one to beat. It has tons of features compared to the rest and the batting inteface is great.
For me, it's between WSB 2K3 and MVP 2003. Right now I'm leaning towards getting WSB.
Which version has the official license for the HomeRun Derby?

I really hated the batting interface of All Star BB 02. WSBB98 just did it so perfect. Why Sega did'nt incorporate this style of batting on the Dreamcast versions is beyond me.

And if it NFL Fever is any indication, Xbox sports games suck.
I'll just get...oh hell, screw XBL sports games, not enough out.
I've been playing High Heat Baseball 2004 for PC and this its great. The graphics are better than previous entries in the series and the gameplay is really good once you get used to it. I always enjoyed the pc High Heat games the most.. they play much better than other baseball series once you play around with the games tune file and put in some great user mods. In fact.. here's a site with great stuff for the pc HH 2004:
High Heat PC stuff for download!
by the way.. Baseball is the king of all sports.. its graceful, skillful, has amazing strategy (national league ball being the best form of baseball in my opinion) and has so much tradition and history. All other sports PALE in comparison to the sport of the gods.. BASEBALL!

Baseball has had some great moments in sports history, but I'm more into the history of Football. The imaculant reception comes to mind.
