Jak & Daxter 2 screens

Jak has undergone a bit of a makeover, with different hair and a goatee. I'm not sure why this is, but I guess we'll find out soon. The screens look excellent so far!

I was just about to post this, I never played the first although I want to soon. It does look way better, he looks buffer or more mature although the goatee kind of sucks. It looks like they are using the R&C engine for a smoother look(yeah I know it used the J&D engine). Some dude at the Xengen forums posted this:

The first game rawked and hopefully this will too..

My only complaint is more with Naughty Dog themselves and the style of music and sound fx they keep using, I didnt like them in Crash and now its just plain annoying..

I actually liked the first one quite a bit... even though it was a bit generic and easy.

I hear this new one's gonna have a bunch of improvements and new things to do, so I'll probably check it out.

The artstyle and overall feel of Jak and Daxter/Ratchet and Clank aren't teh greatest but the games themselves are solid. If you give either a shot the games will grow on you. They're both fun rentals.
