Thread: Kemco ships Batman: Dark Tomorrow

  1. Kemco ships Batman: Dark Tomorrow

Many comic book fans have been eagerly awaiting Batman: Dark Tomorrow, now available for the Xbox and Gamecube platforms. Compared to previous editions, Dark Tomorrow features a solid level of style and gameplay. This may very well mark the end to a legendary curse of sour Bat-games.

    Batman Returns anyone?

Thankfully, the release of Batman: Dark Tomorrow captures the essence of the acclaimed vigilante derived from the comic book license (unlike previous editions which were solely based upon the feature films or animated series). The game was scripted by Scott Peterson, a Batman comic book writer and Kenji Terada of Final Fantasy. This dynamic duo of star talent has helped the developers to remain true to the original roots of the character. As a result, players will experience a much dark, grittier Batman.

Dark Tomorrow features an all-star cast of villians including Killer Croc, Scarface, Ventriloquist, Poisy Ivy and Mr. Free. (What? No Joker?!?) The music is scored by the Royal Philharmonic and the graphics are very sharp and dynamic. It's the ultimate Batman game that you've been waiting for.

On a shocking related news development, the PS2 reportedly has been cancelled by Kemco for unknown reasons. Hopefully, the news has been miscommunicated to retailers and the developers are looking into tweaking the game for the PS2 userbase.

    That makes very little sense.

I hate it when publishers cancel game consoles.

  3. Well, the strategy guide had a picture of the Joker in the enemies section, so he may still be in there... Hopefully.
