Survey: Guys Who Don't Know About Cars Are `Girlie'

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Oil prices, be damned! The youth of America still think its sexy to cruise around in a big gas guzzler of an automobile.
According to a new survey of young drivers by Lugz shoes, the top five dream cars for kids are Hummers, Lincoln Navigators, Bentleys, BMWs and Mercedes Benzes.

Other findings...

-- 33 percent of girls say a guy who doesn't know anything about cars is "girlie."

-- 23 percent of all youngsters say they'd dump their boyfriend or girlfriend if he or she insulted their "ride."

-- 11 percent say the type of car a person drives impresses them more than their intelligence or physique.

-- And 16 percent say its more important to look cool in their car than at a party, at work, or while playing sports.
