Got to agree with 88. Anyone who says playing a game and watching someone play are the same thing is full of shit. I though GGX2 was just a minor upgrade from GGX after watching videos of it in action, but I could tell how wrong I was the minute I got my hands on the game myself.

PS - VF4:Evo is both slow and ugly.

How does me doing a QCT+P and watching a slow ugly fireball happen onscreen differ from someone else doing a QCT+P and me watching a slow ugly fireball happen onscreen?

My argument here wasn't that "SvC plays like shit!!!1" it was "SvC looks like shit and moves slowly, especially compared to stuff like CvS 1 and 2 which are both a few years old!!!1" How can you even argue with that? Are you seeing a different game than me?

For the record, I still plan on getting this if it ever comes to a home console, but those of you planning on spending $300+ for this, when it is anything but an evolutionary leap, are crazy in my eyes.

And, I wasn't the first one to mention VF4, 88 was. I don't think VF4 is slow at all, but I guess it's a matter of preference when it comes to the graphics. I like the hyper-detailed look on the characters, but some of you perfer to have multiple characters with Gis and fireballs. Whatever.

Korly~i can tell by your um...taste in men that you really don't know quality from bullshit.i have watched people play VF4 and thought it was slow.i have seen people play Garou and SF3rd and KoF2k2 and thought it was kind of slow.But than...now listen to this part, its very important....PLAY the game and really get a feel for the character movement, the reaction times thats when you realize that just being a rubbernecker isn't enough. You can watch porn and think...eh it looks fun i guess.but when your knee deep in somethin nice and juicy, thats when you realize just being a spectator aint enough.....BUDDY!!

personally I think VF: Evo is fun to watch, I was recently watching recent Japanese tournament matches and the game is absolutely beautiful...and looks like 2 people really fighting...it's amazingly technical and well I would play it more if I had time, but I just don't have time to get into right now, as I can only handle a couple fighting games at a time...but yeah, there isn't much love for it here in State College PA either, not much love for any 3-D stuff really except SC2...it's a shame...

Well watching GGX and GGXX you can easily tell the two apart if you know the move sets from the latter, you'd see a lot more stuff in the new one...FRCing, air dust, etc...

I enjoy watching really good matches almost as much as playing, just to see what people have done with these games...

Strider: I'm not debating VF vs SvC, that's irrelevant. 88 is the one that mentioned VF. My comments were aimed squarely at SvC and it's lack of speed or beauty.

Nagis: You can be "fresh" for all the "nice and juicy" "suckas" you want. That doesn't change the fact that SvC is slow. I already said that it could have the ultimate reaction times, that I could play the shit telepathically, that the shit could happend before I even finished thinking about it, and it would still be SLOW. I didn't say a damn thing about the control, as I'm in no position to comment on that.

In closing, my statement is that "SvC is SLOW and UGLY" I have not, and will not comment on the control, or anything else involving an opinion that needs to be made after actually playing the game. My comments can easily be made WITHOUT performing my own jumpkicks and fireballs. I also am not debating wether or not VF is better than SvC.

And also, I like watching WWE. That however says nothing about my taste in men, or "nice juicy suckas that I get fresh for". And besides, which TV shows I watch have absolutely no bearing on wether or not CvS is a slow game.

And, Strider, I don't know what you mean about me liking a new fighting game every week, but my favorite fighting series is Tekken. I've been playing VF4 Evo lately, and like it a lot. I also really liked playing CvS2 online for awhile, and although I got the import of SC2 for GC, I never really got into it.

I would also like to add once again that I plan on buying SvC once it comes to the home consoles.
