You can bitch about CvS 2 all you want, but it was damn diverse. Every character added was either one we haven't seen in a LONG time (Haohmaru and Eagle), some of the newer blood (like Rock), and some real gems nobody excepted (Maki, and the chick from LB 2 who I'm forgetting).

CvS 2 had the stock main characters of part 1 to build on .

The fact we already had a dream match game like this then, with alot of the same characters, is even more of a reason to add in people we haven't seen yet.

I mean, this will be the 4th Capcom vs SNK game, and looks to be the least diverse out of the 4.

Cody looks pretty cool, but SFA-wise (or FF-wise, if you wanna be anal) I would have preferred, well, almost any other character.

What games are Hayate and Hwa Jai from?

Is it just me, or does K' just an incredibly glaring ommision? ...I mean, he's supposed to be the new poster boy for KOF.

Hayate is from SNK's Savage Reign/Kizuna Encouter games and Hwa Jai was an opponent in Fatal Fury 1. (He he drank this liquid in battle that powers him up.)

Nice of them to put some more fairly obscure folks on the SNK side... though I was crossing my fingers for Fio.

Now if the Capcom side can do the same with it's remaining lineup, I'd be happy. I'd geek out if they put in Akira from Rival Schools.

Boss-wise, I think it'd be awesome if they did a 180 on CvS and put in, say, Grant or Kain and Kurow or Hyo. Someone completely unexpected.

Yes, I know about the faked photoshopped screens already.
Note the original screens were from E3, where none of these characters were seen.
