Great on Xbox, better on PC is my take of the game. Glad it gets more recognition now.

I'd strongly recommend that anyone who enjoyed this at all run out and find a copy of Blade of Darkness (Severance in some places) for the PC. Absolutely superb hack and slash adventure game. Very difficult at first, but quite rewarding once you master the combat. And its both beautiful and hilarious in a painful way. It's hard not to laugh when your leg goes spinning off, followed by your head and then your torso split in half by an unfriendly foe.

BoD has too many cheap traps. It encourages you not to save (tells you your save count followed by "Awesome!" or whatever), but with so many lame traps that instantly kill you.

Enclave has cheap traps too. But no save throughout the middle of the level.

Glad to see someone else who remembers the greatness known as Blade of Darkness. The multiplayer was a letdown, but that was a great single player game that I still play to this day (and the graphics and physics are still beautiful to this day, IMO). I want a sequel!

The demo reminded me of Rune.

Rune was shit compared to Blade of Darkness.... I had a friend that said that he felt Rune was better, and I just didn't see how that could be (except multiplayer).

I just picked this up (Enclave) for 9.99 at Circuit City and so far I am really enjoying. I had no idea how pretty this game would look. The visuals are great, and while it has its problems I am really enjoying it.

Hmmm. $10 at Circuit City? I think I'll have to give this a go. I've always been interested, and even excited, but I hadn't heard anything about it, so I just kind of kept away.
