Get s-video cables for your Saturn, GC, and DC. Stay away from RCA!
All together now: "Stay away from RCA!"
I would hook up the DVD player with component and hook up the DC and Saturn with s-video, if you are getting one of those component a/v selecters then hook up the PS2, XBOX, Gamecube and DVD player with component cables for video.Originally posted by Shinobi128
My DVD does both component and s-video.
So...I just hookup my 'Cube, DC, and Saturn through regular A/V cables?
Does that reciever have both an optical and coxial digital input, also does your DVD player have a digital coxial output? If so hook your DVD player up with the coxial cable and hook your XBOX up with the optical cable since that is the only way you can do digital on the XBOX.
I hope that helps some![]()
I don't know why everyone is so against RCA... but then again a lot of people on this board are also anti Sony too![]()

No digital optical output on my Dvd player.http://www.geek.com/hwswrev/conel/apex600a/a600p7.htm
Is this good or bad?![]()
Thats ok, you want to hook the DVD player up with coxial that will leave the digital input in the reciever free for the XBOX
The one thing I did notice about that reciever is it has no s-video inputs at all so unless you have enough s-video inputs in your TV you will definately need a a/v box.
The a/v box has two s-video inputs, one for my Dreamcast and the other for my Saturn.Originally posted by Werewolf

I got a $300 dollar Sony surround at Wal-Mart for $100. Happiest day of my life.
