The Gc Fire Pro was just speculation and never officially announced. While it is possible, there has been no confirmation as far as I know.

Well yes, but the way matches are worked in the game is very similar to traditional japanese in-ring work. If you're someone who's only watched WWF your whole life you may not get the little diffrences.

I really, really, really don't wanna deal with messing around with the PS2 import to play this.

Don't kill the messenger..heh. Yeah, the news is disappointing to say the least. I would've loved to see a GC version because it is the only next gen console that I've got four controllers for. If any game makes owning a Japanese Ps2 worth it though, I'd be willing to bet this is it. Even worse is that a Us version, however butchered it may get, will likely never see the light of day. BAM! doesn't bring obscure puroresu games out here anymore. They were originally going to bring KOC out I believe but those plans were scrapped. I don't see any other company picking up a Fire Pro game for release in the US. Regardless of the quality, many gamers just won't play it because 1) It's not WW"E" and 2)it "looks like an NES game!" Shame really....

That sucks ass.

I remember when it was announced for GC/PS2 and when they said it was getting a domestic release.

Then they said no domestic release.

Now I find out no GC release.

*sniff*

Looks like I'll probably have to break down and get a import PS2.
