You just want an excuse to draw her and her tits.

  3. I played this at a Wal-mart demo station.

Most embarrassing game to play in public, it's like Gun Valkeryie meets Flashdance. It's decent, the visuals are similar to the rooms in Cosmic Smash and the animation is good. A rental might be in order. *-neo

  4. I almost played it last week til a friend of mine somehow broke the damn demo controller and started looking at me like i did it. I had to haul ass out of the store after that.

  5. The controls kick the living bajeezus out of GV's. That scheme alone is enough for me to put down that game. God awful.

  6. Yeah, I played GV, and while I adjusted to the controls, there's no god damn reason they couldn't have made a more intuitive setup. Sometimes I wonder why all games don't let you configure the controls the way you want.

The game looks interesting, but I'll wait for some more informed opinions (unlike the ones that seem to be populating this thread) before deciding whether or not to buy it.
    What were you expecting?

  8. I have had this game for about a month, and put in some good play time with it. I does not control like a tank, the control is pretty smooth. It does suck that you can't shoot while moving but I think it was intentional, so that you would have to use her "dance" moves to get out of the way. The graphics are pretty nice, jaggies are minimal and Vanessa's moves are very well done. She even taps her feet to the background music! The music is awesome, I am thinking of picking up the soundtrack. The game is pretty hard, you have limited continues and some enemies can take you out with one hit! I don't like how you have to use the D-pad to do her special moves, but I hate using the Gamecube D-pad for anything. The game is very import friendly most of the menus are in English, but all the dialog is in Japanese, so I have no idea what the hell is going on with the story. Overall I would give it a rent if you like shooters or action games

GunValk's controls were fine. Learn to play the game, they do just what they're meant to.

no thanks...PN03 is fairly similar and much more fun to play thanks to the superior controls ;p

"they do just what they're meant to"

I doubt they said "oops, this isn't supposed to do that, but let's keep it in anyway". I'm sure they meant to use those controls. But guess what? They blow.
