They each have a few minor differences:

Gamecube-

Conquest mode- recieve a password for Treasure's online ranking board.
Slow mode- game runs at 50% speed so you can practice chains.

DC-

VGA format- Does the Gamecube version have progressive?
VMU- keeps track of current chain.

I own two copies of DC Ikaruga and am still tempted to pick up the Gamecube version. There's a few more important games coming out in the next few weeks though....

It's not exactly April, but got Soul Calibur 2 (GC) & Resident Evil 0 ($20 at Blockbuster) yesterday.

And just picked up Gungrave (PS2) for $12.88 at Target...
