The only thing that made the first one worth watching was Nicole DeBoer's hot sexy little self. Other than that though, it wasn't so good.
This Saturday at 9 Scifi channel will be airing the sequal to Cube, a film about people trapped within a gigantic death maze shaped like a cube. Now I loved the original Cube with all my heart and soul, and I hope this one can live up.
I'm looking foward to this one.

The original Cube along with the Dune remakes are the only Sci Fi channel movies I've enjoyed. The acting was sub-par but the premise was cool, the movie must have been cheap to film too, what with one single backdrop. *-neo
SHe was teh highlight of the movie in her pre DS9 days but overall I though the movie was well done--nothing looked too cheesy and it maintained a weird atmosphere of dread and despair. The acting wasn't spectacular but it worked. The scene where the guy gets cut into cubes was classic.Originally posted by ShineAqua

Awesome news ! Thanks Reg. I was wondering when HyperCube will be coming out, so its interesting to see Sci-Fi picking it up. I just hope they dont censor it much, but I have some hope since they didnt really cut Dog Soldiers, and it was most goriest movie on TV I ever seen.
I loved original Cube, cool premise, direction, setting, some grisly deaths(especially one in the beginning !). I was watching it with my wife, and she was both scared and very interested in the same time. We would watch like 10 minutes then she would get scared and ask me to stop, and then her interest would make me start it again.
I will be seeing this.
