I think Blockbuster is running the same deal.![]()
You know...it's great when you can head to your local retailer and discover a wealth of perks and delightful deals. Let's face it...we all love to save cash whenever possible. Well now, Gamestop is offering customers an opportunity to get more games for their dollaer - literally.
Here's how it works. Purchase any 2 used games (DVDs, or accessories) and select a third product of lesser value and it's yours - free! No gimmicks, no fuss. Many are already taking advantage of this new offer and if you've been eagerly looking for some incentive to stock up on some of those highly coveted titles, now's the time to check out what's available. Please note that this does not include game systems. Contact your local retailer for more details.

Who cares? I don't work for them.
The Game Stop I went to said that it DOES include game systems.
Barf! Barf! Barf!
Well yeah, it does. But there's a technical clause to it. Since the headline is up...let me illustrate in more detail.Originally posted by Clash_Master

Say someone goes and decides "hey, I can buy a GC and an Xbox...now I can get the PS2 (or a GBA)..." they can't. They can get a combination of a game and a system, but one can't come away with three systems for purchase. Go fig. The whole thing gave me a headache when I first read the news.
Gut checks save lives.
Hmmm well if I wanted to I would have been able to do that exact thing Bahn yesterday. As this local GameStop had a sign that said, "Buy 2 Get 1 Free! Great time to get all three systems!" Maybe they were just dumb.

they damn sure do.Originally posted by Regus

Clash: Dumb? Not really. Just a misunderstanding...we received correspondences that systems were NOT to be included quite like the associates at your store perceived it originally.![]()
I just took advantage of this deal and walked away with a Mallrats DVD, Goof Troop on the SNES, and Kid Chameleon- KC ended up being free.
