I remember when I was managing the arcade and we got in our SFIII machine.
Cracking open the cab was pretty neat seeing the CDROM n' stuff.

I can't get to the site from work for some reason, but that's where I get a lot of my boards from. They're pretty reasonably priced on some things, and include a lot of extras when you buy from them. I know they had CPS2 systems in stock last time I checked.
So far, I've bought Samurai Shodown 1-4, Last Blade, an MVS 1 slot, Marvel Super Heroes, SFA2, Darkstalkers, Super Turbo and uh, something else from them. They've given me tons of gigantic promo posters and stickers everytime that I've ordered from them. Their english isn't great, but hey it's better than my Japanese![]()
Cool, a Street Fighter 3 thread! Here's a picture of my game as well.![]()
How much is it worth? Less than $50. [5,000Y]

Tell me more about the battery...
Ive read about them in the past but forget most of it..
Theres this fucking battery that needs to be changed every now and than (I forget how long) You have to solder it, and its apparently a pain in the ass.
Click... where the fuck can you buy the English CPS3 kit for $50?
Well anyway... mine came in a full upright cabinet, and I paid $200 for it.
I don't feel like I got ripped off at all.
Heh... yes.Originally posted by Korly
Is that supposed to impress me?![]()
I don't know about soldering, but I remember hearing that there are actually 2 batteries in CPS3 and they need to be changed while the power is on...I don't think the guy was joking, either.Originally posted by 88mph

EDIT: Maybe I was wrong about the double battery, perhaps the guy was referring to the 2 TYPES of suicide circuit. You can find instructions here: http://cbsata.emu-france.com/piles.htm
It's in french, but google makes it comprehensible and it handles both styles of CPS3 suicide batteries.
Oh Jesus...
Thats great.
