Man, is it just me, or did they up the difficulty a notch?

I thought that a bit too. Donovan kicked my butt several times when I dived into the Arcade Mode to unlock the special easter-egg stuff. It's all good...I wouldn't want the same level of difficulty. Adds to the replay value.

yes i put it at one star... and its still freaking hard.. doing battle mode.. it toook me 6 trys to get sakuras winning pose pic... and i sakura keeps on kicking my ass.. i cant win the sakura music..

Ha, it's like X-Men: COTA for the Saturn. Put it on one star and you still get your ass handed to you, haha. I did the same thing with Puzzle Fighter.

Well, I read the reviews, and heard what you all had heard about it. I just have trouble paying $35 for a reportedly lesser version of a game I payed $25 on PSX.

The IGN review didn't mention anything at all about extras. If there are additional play modes (besides the Street Puzzle mode on PSX) I would be prompted to get it. Guess I'll check GameFaqs myself, since I'm on the fence.
