Ive played the ps2 version od Def Jam Vendetta, and i was surprised at how good it actually is. there were plenty of characters and it was a good wrestling game, the music repeated gets old though
Well, it's at least worth a rental just to give it a shot.

Rented it: thought it was good, but the gameplay/moves are very shallow.
Not worth a purhcase, unless you're doing lots of four player action.
Not to mention the rapid button presses required to shake off submissions/pins/stuns is suck.
I was quite surprised how great this game was. Now I'm not the biggest fan of the whole HIp-Hop scence, in fact I cant stand it, but this game has some of the greatest gameplay in a wresteling game. Not sure if its the game or just cause it's a rental, but the games loading times are insane on the PS2 and it freezes while loading many times. I would probly pay no more than $15 for this game. Lookin forward to Wrestlemania 19.
WM IX is shaping up to be quite an interesting game due to the story mode, or whatever it's being called.

It's definately because it was a rental, as I've played DJV on my ps2 hundreds of times it seems, and it loaded fairly quickly and I've never had it freeze. I'm not a huge fan of hip hop either besides a couple artists, but the diverse characters make up for that.Originally posted by DarkCrow676
