Anyone try this mod out? It's a lot of fun using modern weaponry when u get sick of B1942. Blackhawk chopper fights, assault teams with mortars and sandblocks
This is one of the best mods that I have ever played by far!!!I can fly the apache heli, but the transport helicopter is a bitch to fly. I really dig the support(medic) class. Mortars are beyond fun!
I love the blackhawk. U can have a gunner on there, it's so fun! I wish they had more rescue missions and missions where u only can use helicopters.
Imagine a scenario where u use blackhawks to rescue a prisoner in an IRAQI camp. U have to land the blackhawks and defend the chopper or else the rescue squad would be in danger.
Its by far the most impressive FPS I have ever played. It doesn't really even take that much of a PC to run, either. Desert Combat take the friggin' cake though! They improved the sniping, re-balanced the classes, made completely new vehicles! There isn't even a "level Editor" These guys did all that shit themselves. Their own models and such. The Desert Combat guys are definitly going to go far in the industry! Killer gaming, simply killer. This is one game that EA should be praised for,even though when they first came out with it, they didn't even back it that much. All that has changed now.
If anyone has a 1.4 ghz processor and a Geforce 2 or above, this game will play great for you! I really can't say enough good stuff about it
Let me just say if u have 1942 and haven't downloaded Desert Combat, u are missing out. It's better than CS because u have all these classes. You can do bombing runs, tank strategic warfare, anti tank classes, parachute into battle, sniping, setting off bombs, riding in a Blackhawk and providing covering fire down below. Teamwork is great in this game.
